In MiSide, players enter the life of a character who unexpectedly blurs the lines between digital fantasy and reality. The game starts with the protagonist receiving a new app on their smartphone, which appears to be a typical life simulation game featuring an AI character named Mita. Players interact with Mita through daily activities, gradually enhancing their relationship. However, the narrative takes a dramatic turn on the 37th day when Mita expresses a desire to meet the player in person, leading to a startling moment when the digital world transforms into a 3D reality, pulling the player into a virtual apartment with Mita.

As players spend more time with Mita, they notice subtle discrepancies and strange occurrences within the virtual apartment.
