MeChat

MeChat is an interactive story and dating simulation where the player meets different characters through a dating-app-style interface. There is no single main storyline that connects every route. Instead, each match has its own plot, characters, setting, and genre, with stories ranging from romance and drama to mystery, fantasy, science fiction, and thriller themes. The player becomes the main character in each route and decides how conversations and relationships develop through selected responses.

Matching and Starting New Stories

Characters appear as profiles that can be liked or skipped. After making a match, the player begins chatting with that person through messages and later unlocks dates and other story scenes. Every character follows a separate route, so starting a new match effectively begins another independent story. Some characters also have counterparts with similar storylines but different appearances.

Chats, Dates, and Choices

Most of the gameplay is based on reading dialogue and choosing responses. Players can:

·         swipe through character profiles;

·         start conversations after matching;

·         choose between different dialogue options;

·         go on illustrated dates;

·         unlock photos and voice messages;

·         select outfits for certain scenes;

·         use Gems for premium responses and content;

·         increase relationship progress with each match.

Some decisions mainly change the current conversation, while more important choices can affect later scenes, unlock additional content, or slightly change the direction of the route.

Progression and Relationship Routes

MeChat does not use traditional numbered levels or combat progression. Each character has a separate storyline that advances through chats and dates. A Love Meter shows relationship progress, while rewards can be earned as it increases. Gems are used for premium choices, special images, voice messages, outfits, and other optional content.

Playing MeChat mainly means deciding which characters to follow and how the protagonist should respond to them. Some stories are relatively linear, while others contain more meaningful route choices. Players can leave one storyline and return to it later, replay completed dates, or follow several characters at the same time. New chapters and characters are added through updates, so some routes continue after their current story content has been completed.
