The Coffin of Andy and Leyley

The Coffin of Andy and Leyley is a story-driven horror adventure about siblings Andrew and Ashley Graves and their destructive dependence on each other. At the beginning, they have spent months trapped inside an apartment during a supposed quarantine and are running out of food. After discovering a neighbor performing a demonic ritual, they become involved in murder, cannibalism, and occult activity. They eventually learn that the quarantine is connected to an illegal organ-harvesting operation and attempt to escape, after which the story follows the consequences of their actions.

Episodes and Story Routes

The game is divided into story episodes rather than conventional numbered levels. Each episode contains its own locations, conversations, puzzles, and major decisions. Players control both Andrew and Ashley at different points, exploring apartments, buildings, outdoor areas, and other environments while learning more about their childhood and relationship. Choices can change later scenes and eventually lead toward different routes, including the Burial and Decay branches.

Exploration and Gameplay

Gameplay is primarily based on walking around, examining objects, speaking with characters, collecting useful items, and solving light environmental puzzles. Important actions include:

·         exploring rooms and looking for interactive objects;

·         switching between Andrew and Ashley when the story requires it;

·         collecting and using items to solve puzzles;

·         performing rituals and interacting with supernatural entities;

·         choosing dialogue and actions during important scenes;

·         making decisions that affect routes and endings;

·         revisiting story information to understand earlier events.

Choices and Multiple Endings

Combat is not the main focus. Most dangerous situations are handled through scripted actions, exploration, puzzle solving, or player choices rather than a traditional fighting system. The game frequently presents decisions involving Andrew and Ashley’s relationship, other characters, and the consequences of their crimes. Some choices create immediate differences, while others influence larger route changes and possible endings later in the story.

There is no character leveling system, skill tree, equipment progression, or traditional mission selection. Progress means moving through each episode, discovering new information, solving the current problem, and deciding how the siblings respond to increasingly dangerous situations. Multiple endings encourage different playthroughs because earlier decisions can change how Andrew and Ashley treat one another and where their story leads. The central gameplay loop therefore combines dialogue, exploration, light puzzles, disturbing story events, and branching choices rather than action-focused progression.
