Roaring Knight Simulator

Roaring Knight Simulator is a fan-made Deltarune battle simulator focused on the confrontation with the Roaring Knight. Instead of exploring a large world or completing a story campaign, the game places most of its attention on the battle itself. The player deals with attack patterns, party actions, and repeated combat phases while trying to survive long enough to complete the encounter. Some versions also let the player control the Knight and test different attacks directly.

Facing the Knight's Attack Patterns

The battle alternates between choosing actions and surviving enemy attacks. During defensive sections, the player needs to move carefully through dangerous patterns and avoid projectiles, slashes, and other hazards inside the battle area. Each sequence has its own timing, so repeated attempts help reveal where safe spaces appear and when movement should begin. Later portions of the fight can introduce more difficult combinations instead of sending the player to separate traditional levels.

Controlling the Fight

The simulator provides several actions connected to the Roaring Knight encounter. Depending on the version being played, players can:

·         move during enemy attack phases;

·         choose actions for the party;

·         attack or defend during turns;

·         use different Knight attacks;

·         practice difficult patterns repeatedly;

·         restart after losing;

·         test harder versions of attacks;

·         try to complete the fight with fewer hits.

The Scratch version includes separate controls for the Roaring Knight and the Fun Gang, including multiple attack keys for the Knight and movement and menu controls for the party.

There is no inventory-focused adventure, town exploration, or long chain of quests. Progress comes from understanding the encounter itself. A player who initially loses during an early attack can gradually learn the timing, recognize dangerous zones, and survive farther into the battle. This makes practice more important than character leveling or collecting equipment.

Learning the Entire Encounter

Roaring Knight Simulator is mainly designed for players who want to practice or experiment with the Roaring Knight battle without going through a larger adventure first. The challenge comes from reading attack patterns, reacting accurately, and making better decisions during each turn. Repeated attempts gradually turn unfamiliar sequences into recognizable patterns, allowing the player to survive longer and eventually complete the full encounter.
